Small Snail On My Garage Door

Small snail on my garage door. The white garage door is covered in tiny snails. We had this problem since mid summer but it seems to be getting worse now. We have no idea why they are there or what they like about it or even where they come from. Snails are drawn to areas that remain cool and damp such as under boards and planters or in water meter boxes.

During the night about 20 different slugs traverse on my glass doors and are all gone when morning comes. Picking snails from your garden one by one and dropping them into a bucket of soapy water or a plastic bag is an effective way to deal with the slimy pests. Stupid useless biology degree. They are in the grass the soil our driveway on the garage door on the front steps the walkway everywhere.

Since i have a large glass sliding door at the back of my house which the snails seem to like it gets covered in slugtrails and slugexcriments. Since a few weeks i got a small slug infestation. I use snail bait in areas where snails and slugs are a problem. They are very small and you can see them with their tiny little shells.

They don t migrate to the other garage door on the attached garage or anywhere else we can find on the house. Remove such items or store them away from garden areas when possible. Needless to say i d like to prevent this. To keep the rain off the bait i pour a small amount in a plastic cup turn the cup on its side and let the snails have a party.
