Smartthings Door Lock Not Responding
When any door is unlocked the card will turn red.
Smartthings door lock not responding. When i say alexa lock back door alexa says locking hang on. I have 2 be469 schlage door locks z wave connected to st. It still shows the status of the locks fine and sends me alerts when they are locked or unlocked but when i try to lock or unlock them from within the smartthings app nothing happens. Since you re getting notifications it s unlikely you need to do this far but as a last option.
If you re using the enhanced lock device handler it may help speed up the process. Also note that after a firmware update many devices can take upto 48 hours to come back online it appears to have something to do with the device health status. This was working for the last few months that i had the hub. To reset a z wave kwikset lock if the z wave kwikset lock was not discovered or if it was previously connected with another controller you may need to reset or exclude the device before it can successfully connect with the smartthings hub. Try to reboot the hub. St connected to alexa.
